63,400 Candidates Invited in 9 months – confirms a latest Canada Express Entry Report

The government had promised to invite over a million candidates to settle in Canada in its Multi-Year Immigration Plan. The latest Canada Express Entry report is all enough to prove how successfully the country is heading towards its promise.

According to the latest quarterly report, nearly 63,400 candidates have been issued with an Invitation to Apply during the first 3 quarters of 2019.

Report reflects that the third quarter has the highest number of candidates invited so far in 2019.

From July 1 to September 30, all the months have been busy for Express Entry and beneficial for its applicants. Nearly 21,600 ITAs were issued to skilled workers during this quarter. CICnews terms this period as the “most productive quarter.”

During the first quarter of 2019, 21, 200 invitations were rolled out whereas during the second quarter 20,600 applicants received their ITAs based on their CRS score.

What’s increasing the invitation numbers?

The report has confirmed that two major aspects contribute to the increasing number of invitations during each draw.

1. Increase in Draw sizes

If you analyse the latest Express Entry Draws of 2019, you will notice that with each draw, the number of invitations issued have been increased.

This approach of incremental changes to the size of draws of Express Entry every few months was witnessed last year and has continued since then.

During 2018, IRCC made a milestone by issuing 3900 during the last quarter. It is stated that this year a new record can be anticipated considering the increasing draw sizes and the Government’s need to bring more skilled talent.

2. Decrease in CRS cut-off

With more frequent draws in the new quarter, the CRS score has witnessed a change by each draw.

The range of CRS cut-off scores in the third quarter did not stray from this trend, varying from a low of 457 to a high of 466.

Four of the six draws in the third quarter were held at two-week intervals, which had the effect of slightly lowering the CRS score on three occasions.

With the first 3 quarters bringing in benefits greatly for skilled workers, it can be expected that the last quarter will have something more exciting. Candidates who wish to migrate to Canada can reach a score of 460 or higher and anticipate their application to get picked up before the end of 2019.

So, it is advised that applicants check eligibility immediately and lodge their applications at the earliest.  You can speak to our visa consultants to know the better chances to migrate to Canada. Call to our toll-free number- 1800-102-0109 or drop your query to info@kansaz.com.
