The details of the AINP draws have been released on Thursday. According to the update, AINP welcomed candidates with a CRS score as low as 302 in one of its two draws held in this month. The draws of Alberta Express Entry Streams were held on September 11th and September 18th.
The stream helps the AINP to search for the eligible federal candidates meeting the requirements of Alberta from the Express Entry. There is no mandatory need for the candidates to have a job offer from Alberta. But, the AINP states that having an opportunity can increase the possibility to get invited for Canada Permanent Residency.
The selected candidates will be issued an NOI or the Notification of Interest from the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. Then, they are invited to apply for a nomination from the province for Canada PR. A nomination from a province grants in an additional score of 600 points. This will help a candidate to increase their CRS score and subsequently get better chances to get an invitation in the Express Entry Draws.
During the AINP’s recent draw held on September 18th, 139 candidates with CRS scores at 350 and above were invited. AINP is one of the popular streams as it selects candidates usually at a well-below federal cut-off score.
In this year, Alberta invited candidates with lowest scores of 300; while the federal Express Entry draws held its lowest score to 438 and up. In this year, around 4,378 nomination certificates were issued by the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program.
