Results of Australia’s October 2019 SkillSelect has been released and it is great that there have been a good number of invitations received to 1500 places. Since the Subclass 489 visa was closed, there weren’t new invitations received for the visa type.
As per the SkillSelect results, the minimum score required was 80 points for an invitation. Also, most invitations were issued to candidates who have lodged their applications during the start of June 2019.
Candidates with an eligibility score of 85 points received the most number of invitations, i.e., with 922 invitations. Further, it followed up for candidates with 90 points and above with 190 invites (approximately).
In comparison to the occupational ceilings from the September month, the majority of invitations were received to the candidates belonging to the IT Occupations, Software and Applications Programmers (361 invites), ICT Business and Systems Analysts (107 invites), and Computer Network Professionals (106 invites). These professionals take over one-third of the invitations received.

As the date to introduce Regional Provisional Visa is approaching, migrants with less than 85 points have the most chances to receive an ITA through the new Subclass 491 visa with a Family or State sponsorship. Similarly, the subclass 190 visa can be a good one for receiving an invitation, if you are capable of obtaining a minimum of 65 points.
