Canada Express Entry CRS reaches to the lowest number of the historyPosted on February 8, 2017
On the 8th of February 2017, Canada Express Entry System hit a record of CRS never before in its 2 years history. Applicants with CRS of 447 points and above were issued with an Invitation to Apply during this 54th Express Entry Draw. As per the records, over 3,664 reached this cut off score are were invited for Canada Immigration. Statistics show that this Draw has been the biggest hit till date. While the Express Entry has been decreasing the CRS in each draw this year, it was unpredictable that the CRS could even go below 450 points.
IRCC had once predicted that a reduction in points to candidates with arranged employment means the cut-off score will decline. It also had stated that this would be done to ‘balance the Comprehensive Ranking System to put greater weight on human capital, skills and experience. Furthermore, on this account, representatives from IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship) have stated, ‘It can be expected that in general, the low score for rounds will decline.’ Considering these changing trends in the Express Entry System and the decreasing CRS requirement, certainly there could be no best time for applicants willing to settle in Canada to get ready for their applications.
