Since the start of 2017, Canadian provinces opened their skilled migrant nominee program very often and gave way to thousands of applicants from Canada and outside Canada to gain a Permanent Residency. Provinces of Canada Immigration that have been a center of attraction this year are British Columbia, Manitoba, Alberta, & Saskatchewan.

During the most recent draw of PNP conducted for the British Columbia on March 22 a total number of 437 ITA was issued across the Skilled Immigration Registration System.  This draw shows that number of clients who were invited increased well when compared to the previous draw- 8th March wherein 377 ITAs were issued. Records show that among the total of 2074 applicants who received an ITA through British Columbia since last February, half of them were international graduates, who had Canadian work experience.

While Manitoba has slight difference in its visa procedures, it stood as one of the most attractive province of this year’s start. A draw conducted on March 16 shows that over 313 applicants were invited with a Letter of Advice to Apply under the Manitoba system. Among these 250 letters were issued to candidates already residing in Manitoba while 63 were given to candidates living overseas- who were invited under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

Alberta province has also accepted 1300 applicants since the start of 2017, under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. Similarly, the province of Saskatchewan too experienced a good number of processing applications and according to related news, the application fee of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program would be raised to $300 from April.
