The General Skilled Migration Program of South Australia will experience key changes to its points system from April 19, 207 on wards. As of the news, applicants who lodge their applications after 9 am on April 19, 2017, will have to score 85 points instead of 80 points for the high State nomination, once the total quota of nomination for 80 points requirement has been filled.
The rule states that applications that are received for high point’s State Nomination after 9 am on April 19, 2017, will be rejected if they are not able to score 85 points. However, the applicants who have filed prior to the mentioned date will not be affected by this rule. Plus, there are certain occupations that are kept out of the high points and chain migration.
