Manitoba is the first Canadian province, to come forward to establish its own immigration program. And the program was named as Manitoba Provincial Nominal Program (MPNP).
By 2020, the Government of Manitoba Projects a labor shortage of more than 20,000 skilled workers. Every year, around 15,000 immigrants enter Manitoba and outcomes for internationally experienced workers who immigrate through the MPNP are positive.
Strategic Recruitment initiatives are part of a recruitment mission. The provincial representatives hold interviews with skilled workers outside the nation. Based on the eligibility criteria of the program, the MPNP later issues LAAs(Letters of Advice to Apply) for skilled workers, who are qualified. All candidates who receive an LAA have about sixty days time to submit the complete application to the MPNP for a provincial nomination
Skilled workers living in Manitoba or foreign nation who got an LAA on August 17th draw and whose application for a provincial nomination got approved can go ahead and submit their application for Canadian PR status to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC, formerly CIC)
If anyone is interested to immigrate to Manitoba, the first step they need to take is, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
