Know more about the latest Australia Skilled Occupation List changes in 2019

The Australia Immigration government updates new changes to the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) 2019. Many new occupations are going to affect to General Skilled and Employer Sponsor migration programs from 11th March 2019. However, the Department of Jobs and Small Business is following a review and consultation period on it. This review will assure that “the entry of skilled foreign workers to Australia remains carefully calibrated to Australia’s needs.”

This change is a great update for candidates under the science stream. Some occupations are belonging to these are added up to the Medium and Long Term Skills Shortage List (MTSSL). Therefore people belonging to these have the most possibility to migrate to Australia in 2019.

The new 36 occupations added up to the Skilled Occupation list 2019 are:

Also, there have been 27 occupations removed from the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).  Most of the removed occupations belonged to the Regional Occupation List (ROL).
