Largest Draw ever since 2017- BC PNP invites 551 candidates

The latest draw conducted by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program reported as the biggest draw for inviting 551 candidates belonging to the Skills Immigration, Express Entry, and Entrepreneur categories. The draw was held on 20th August 2019, and it is the largest in the history since the inception in February 2017.

From the total invitations received, about 527 invitations were received to Skilled Worker and Express Entry BC categories; 18 invitations were received to candidates from Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category, and six other invitations were issued to candidates from Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Pilot.

Categories of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program:

Skills Immigration: It is referred to skilled and semi-skilled individuals who are having their occupations listed in the in-demand occupation list of British Columbia.

Express Entry BC: The category is for candidates who are placed in the Express Entry pool by having an Express entry profile. Invitations are issued for skilled candidates who are meeting the eligibility categories and planning to reside in British Columbia.

The Entrepreneur category is allotted for candidates with a plan to manage and invest for business in B.C. This is also a pathway to obtain a Permanent Residency in the British Columbia province. British Columbia’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) is the administration managing the BC PNP’s categories. Through the SIRS, eligible candidates can register by performing their profile eligibility check.

The eligibility check is based on your core human factors such as age, education, language proficiency, and adaptability.
