As per the announcement of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (PNP), the program will be accepting new applications of approximately. 225 within its Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Category B, on 17th November 2018. It will be a great opportunity to the Express Entry applicants as the program is scheduled for applicants who are not holding an employment letter.
The Nova Scotia PNP Program functions on the basis of first-come, first-served and the applicants who receive a nomination through this program will gain a bonus of 600 points. However, to be eligible, the candidates need to have at most 1-year of job experience in any of the Eleven (11) occupations framed by the Nova Scotia Province. Additionally, there isn’t any need of job requirement and no target score mentioned for Comprehensive Ranking System Score.
Below are a few more conditions, which are to be taken care before applying:
- The candidates should have their profile registered in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s Express Entry System
- Need to get their educational qualifications assessed in Canada & Nova Scotia
- Need to get their language efficiency assisted in either French or English
- On Express Entry Points Grid Must score minimum 67 points
Also, the program expects the candidates to have their employment experience for at least a year from any of the employment opportunities of the province, i.e. from occupations, namely Accountants and Financial Auditors, Professional occupations for advertising, Administrative assistants, marketing & public relations, Accounting & related clerks, Civil engineers, Registered nurses for regular & psychiatric nursing.
When comparing to the Category A of Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry; though it is left for open, it requires an arranged employment balanced by a Labor Market Impact Assessment from an employer of Nova Scotia.
