Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program Issues 3,337 ITAs Through its EOI System Since July

New Invitations to Apply (ITA) for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) have been issued to International Skilled Worker Immigration Category candidates on 23rd November 2018, by the Saskatchewan province. Also, it includes 247 invitations to candidates under the Federal Express Entry system and 267 invitations to Saskatchewan’s Occupation In-Demand sub-category candidates with a minimum score of 64.

The SINP has successfully issued 3,337 ITAs over the International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest system since July. Among this, 1,552 holds for the Canada Express Entry candidates and 1,785 to Occupation In-Demand candidates.

The Express Entry candidates, who wish to get nominated under Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) have to get registered separately under their Expression of Interest system or EOI system. The Canada Express Entry is an electronic process, which has been introduced by the Canada Government with three federal economic immigration categories: the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class and the Canadian Experience Class.

However, to get considered for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, the candidates have to meet the required fields or factors such as educational qualifications, age, work experience, language proficiency and adaptability. Then, the points are issued by considering the provided information with the International Skilled Worker point grid to get placed in the Expression of Interest Pool.

Here, the highest ranked candidates avail the ITAs for PNP in the regular draws.

Within this draw, 63 was the lowest-rank of the Express Entry candidate under the Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker point grid.

Also, the Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination receive an extra 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System Score or CRS score. This makes them assured to avail an Invitation to Apply for Canada immigration with the frequent Express Entry draws conducted by the CIC.

After switching from first-come, first-served system to Expression of Interest system in July, this is the fifth draw for both the sub-categories of Saskatchewan.

In order to be eligible for the Occupation In Demand sub-category, candidates should be out of Canada Express Entry with a minimum score of 60 points on the Saskatchewan’s points Assessment Grid. Though, there isn’t a requirement of a job, they need to have an employment experience at least for a year in their last 10 years. Additionally, it should be noted that, candidate’s employment should refer in any of the province’s in-demand occupation.
