The Saskatchewan PNP or Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has issued a total of 362 invitations to candidates belonging to the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category and another 234 invitations to Occupation In-demand candidates.
The Express Entry candidates along with the nomination received an additional 600 points for their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. This massive increase in the score will help the candidates in receiving faster Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residence.
However, having work experience in a high-skilled occupation listed in the In-demand list of the Saskatchewan PNP was one of the necessary factors for eligibility.
Besides, the invitations issued to the Occupation In-demand candidates were provided to the foreign candidates having work experience in any of Saskatchewan’s In-demand occupations.
Also, there wasn’t any mandatory requirement for the candidates belonging to the Saskatchewan Express Entry and In-demand occupations to have a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
The Express Entry and In-demand Occupation followed the same selection process, namely Expression of Interest for selecting candidates.
Hence, candidates have to first create their application through an Expression of Interest (EOI) Profile by filling the appropriate information. Also, the profile’s has to score minimum 60 points to be eligible for launching an application on Express Entry.
The candidates obtaining the highest score have more tendencies for receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) faster through the regular Express Entry draws.
