Trudeau visits India- Says Canada is open to immigration and trade

The Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau is exploring the beauty of India. While celebrating the Indian culture and building ties with the Indian crowd, Justin Trudeau at the Ahmed Indian Institute of Management expressed Canada’s welcomeness towards immigration and trade. He said that while leaders across the globe are creating barriers in view of local interest protection, Canada strongly believes that immigrants boost to an economic growth of Canada. There is a huge potential for bilateral trade between the two countries, he believes. With a strong association, the countries can grow from current 2 billion dollars in services to 8 billion dollars in goods, respectively, believes Trudeau.

According to the statement of the Hindu Businessline, “Justin Trudeau said that the biggest challenge faced by human society is achieving something that both Canada and India have fairly done well”.

During his India visit, not just did Trudeau talk about scope for Indians in the Maple country, but also walked around the beautiful and prominent places of India. He seemed enjoying his Bhangra moves in the Canada House in Delhi and experienced a pleasant time at the Sabarmati Ashram.
